Archaeologists uncovered four skeletons in Iron Age graves on the site of the London 2012 Olympic Park.
The graves were in an area of a buried settlement on the site of the Aquatics Center. The remains were removed for further study and one, estimated at 3,000 years old, was exhibited Thursday by the Olympic Delivery Authority.
The finds follow that of a Roman coin, Roman river walls, World War II gun emplacements and a 19th-century boat used for hunting on the River Lea, which joins the Thames near the Olympic site.
The Olympic site is covered mainly by industrial development, but 3,000 years ago was an open river valley.
More than 140 trenches have been dug and investigated as part of archaeological work on the sites of the Olympic Stadium, Aquatics Center, VeloPark, Olympic Village and the media center.

Dallas loses game to Spurs, Nowitzki to injury
Dallas on Sunday lost 88-81 to the San Antonio Spurs and lost league MVP Dirk Nowitzki to a leg injury.
Nowitzki was injured during a fall in the third quarter of Dallas, but left the arena without knowing how bad it is. The team termed it a "lower left leg injury" and said more details would come Monday.
"I fell awkwardly and my left leg got caught underneath of me," Nowitzki said in a statement. "I am going to get re-evaluated in the morning and I hope to have more information then."
San Antonio won its third straight since a 1-6 slump and got some breathing room over Dallas in the Western Conference playoff race. The Spurs also won the season series 3-1, which would help should the teams wind up tied — but the Mavericks may have to worry about just making the playoffs if Nowitzki’s injury is as severe as it looked.
Dallas hasn’t beaten a winning team since Jason Kidd arrived. The Mavs are 0-8, including their last three, all at home. They were 29-4 at home — without losing as many as two in a row — before falling to the Lakers, Celtics and now the Spurs.
With 12 games left, the Mavericks are 44-26. They’re ahead of Golden State for the final playoff spot, but the team they may have to watch most is Denver, which is on the outside looking in. The Nuggets were 41-28 going into a game at Toronto on Sunday afternoon.
Manu Ginobili led San Antonio with 26 points. He started the game-breaking rally with a layup and a 3-pointer, then hit a 3 to cap it. He also was 11-of-11 from the foul line. Dallas took only 11 free throws all game.
Tim Duncan finished with 19 points and 13 rebounds, despite missing 11 of his first 12 shots. He made six of his last nine.

Celtics eye Rockets after win over Spurs
March 19 -- Boston, the best team in the NBA, survived a torrid time before overturning a 22-point deficit to beat San Antonio on Monday, a day before it faces the league's hottest team.
The Celtics' dramatic 93-91 win over the Spurs on St. Patrick's Day was their second victory on a five-game road trip but they now travel to Houston who won their 22nd consecutive game on Sunday.
"It's a huge game for us," Celtics forward Kevin Garnett, who scored 21 points on Monday, told reporters when asked about the meeting between Eastern Conference-leading Boston and Houston, the Western Conference's top team.
"We want to bring the energy from tonight to (the Rockets') game," he added. "We have to start the game better because we can't spot teams on the road or else it's an uphill battle."
The Celtics fell behind 11-33 in the second quarter before Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo and Sam Cassell inspired their comeback.
Pierce, who sparked a fourth-quarter rally, finished with 22 points. Rondo had 20 and new signing Cassell 17.
Cassell hit a clutch three-pointer with 46 seconds to play to give the Celtics a lead they never relinquished.
"I'm really proud of our guys," Celtics coach Doc Rivers said. "San Antonio came out and just attacked us and went after us," he added. "We didn't respond to it well as the lesson is on the road you can't ease into a basketball game against an angry great team. They had lost three in a row and you could see that they had a purpose."
Manu Ginobili scored 32 for the Spurs but received little support.
Last season's NBA champions still made it interesting, however, and even had a chance to win.
A Boston turnout gave San Antonio the ball with two seconds left and Robert Horry launched a three-pointer that would have won the game.
"I thought it was in," Rivers said. "We got lucky."
In Orlando, Dwight Howard notched 23 points and 13 rebounds, Rashard Lewis scored 21 and the Orlando Magic beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 104-90.
LeBron James had 30 points, nine rebounds and six assists for Cleveland. Delonte West had 16 points and Sasha Pavlovic added 14.
The Magic made their mark from long range, including five 3-pointers in a four-minute stretch of the third quarter. Orlando was 14-for-32 on 3s, compared with 6-for-19 for the Cavaliers, and got 20 points off 15 Cleveland turnovers in its fifth straight win.
In Washington, Mike Bibby scored 23 points and Joe Johnson added 18 points and 10 assists to lead Atlanta 105-96 over the Wizards for its third straight win and move Hawks one-half game ahead of idle New Jersey for eighth place in the Eastern Conference.
Atlanta rookie center Al Horford added 12 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high six assists.
Washington, which had its three-game winning streak end, had won 12 of 15 games against the Hawks. Antawn Jamison led the Wizards with 25 points.
In other action it was: Pacers 110, Knicks 98; Grizzlies 98, Bobcats 80; Hornets 108, Bulls 97; Timberwolves 99, Clippers 90; and Jazz 96, Raptors 79.
In Indianapolis, Mike Dunleavy tied his career high with 36 points, Danny Granger had 26 points and 11 rebounds, and Troy Murphy added 13 points and 10 rebounds for Indiana, which snapped a two-game losing streak.
Zach Randolph had 21 points and 14 rebounds for New York, which has lost nine of 10.
In Memphis, Tennessee, Mike Miller had 18 points and 13 rebounds, helping Memphis snap a four-game losing streak. Juan Carlos Navarro led Memphis with 21 points and Darko Milicic added 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Remembering the past
I HAD arrived at the airport about 30 minutes before the check in. It had been a very busy three days for me with lots of meetings. So I was glad to have the extra time to make my notes on what I needed to do the following day. But then came the announcement that my flight had to be delayed because there was a problem with the plane.
As I sat waiting for my flight to be called I reflected on my last meeting of the day. It was not a business meeting but rather a very enjoyable lunch with an old business friend I had not seen for over 12 years. Our lunch was spent recalling times gone by as well as filling each other in on what had happened in our lives over the last 12 years. We both laughed and smiled as we recalled the good times and the great experiences we had shared together. At the end of our time together, we both said how much we had enjoyed it and that we must do it again.
It was great to have this additional time to replay in my mind all that we had talked about. I realized just how important it is to have regular reminders of the good times in your life. I was lucky enough to have had the chance to take a short break and reflect on the good things that had happened in my life over 12 years.
It was somewhat like looking at an old photo album stored away in a cupboard in your house. There before your eyes are lots of wonderful memories that take you back to times and places, and most importantly to those people who are in the photos.
My flight home was finally called three hours later. I smiled as I boarded the plane and realized that I was not at all upset about the delay in the flight, as I had been able to spend the time reflecting on the good times from days gone by.

Parrot-like dog takes pleasure in owner's pastimes
Wang, a woman from Dalian, Liaoning province, has a pet dog that is able to turn off the television and pretend to read a newspaper.
After seeing its owner changing the channel with a remote control at home, the dog took a great interest in the device. One night she was watching TV when the dog snatched the controller and changed the channel.
"The dog will take a page from me and sit reading whenever I read a newspaper at home. Reading the news now seems to be one of the dog's preferred pastimes," she said, "The dog's skills are fascinating."
